CS-Digital File Record
CS-Digital File Record is a module suitable for intelligently recording patient
information. The module offers optimum support in the structured recording of
the various data that is generated during a patient’s care process. This can be
information regarding an appointment, admission or the treatment process.
CS-Digital File Record is based on the premise that information must be recorded at
the source (by the user): where the information ‘originated’.
Patient information is often recorded more than once by different care
providers, For example, case history or social data (such as information
regarding the patient’s home-life situation). CS-Digital File Record is the tool for
structuring these kinds of data. Many of the data form an important basis for
the medical correspondence about the patient. Integration in the
CS-ECIS enables easy standardization of correspondence
with the reporting module

How does CS-Digital File Record work?
CS-Digital File Record is based on the question and answer principle. Thanks to the
built-in intelligence, data are recorded efficiently: depending on the answers
given, so-called triggers determine the route through the predefined questions.
Important questions can consequently no longer be forgotten. In addition,
CS-Digital File Record supports the workflow and can steer the patient’s treatment
process.
From the digital file record, other functionalities can be summoned, such as
the prescription of medication and the registrating of a DTC (Diagnosis Treatment
Combination). The history of the recorded patient information can always be
reused and supplemented, so that duplicative input of data becomes a thing of
the past.

configured. By using predefined questions in a tree diagram, the workflow gets
optimum support. The questionnaire keeps each patient’s history and recycles
this at the moment a questionnaire for this patient is filled in again. The
results of the CS-Digital File Record are also stored in the patient EPR. Through
optimum integration with CS-Document, answers from the questionnaire can be used
in documents. In addition, CS-Digital File Record offers the option of summoning other
functionalities in the CS-ECIS.
