CS-Document

CS-Document is a total solution for the management, routing (sending a document around using fax, e-mail, EDI or a paper print-out) and archiving of correspondence, reports and forms. CS-Document can be used throughout the care organization. For example, for the generation and registration of letters, medical reports and referral forms for the radiography department and the laboratory.

How does CS-Document work?

Using CS-Document, you can create templates in an integrated Microsoft Word environment. These can be templates for all sorts of correspondence and reports, but also for the complete flow of forms. Using these standard templates, a user can quickly and efficiently integrate the desired information, facilitating rapid processing of standard correspondence. Through links between the templates and the data in the database, such as patient data, appointment data, admission data and general practitioner data, CS-Document can incorporate the desired data in a letter, report or form. After generation of the document, extra data, such as laboratory results, can be added with a simple click of the mouse.

Benefits

CS-Document is the first step on the road to the standardization of the digital recording of document flows in your organization, which lays the basis for the Electronic Medical Record. The integration of CS-Document in your organization can be interpreted in different ways. CS-Document employs the data already recorded in the central care system; these can be both medical data and/or data concerning office computerization. This integration of data can produce great benefits. When writing an operation report, for example, you can generate, based on the operation number, a large part of the operation report automatically with previously recorded data. Various data (such as name and address data, operation data and assistance data) that are already known to the system, are automatically integrated into the operation report.

After a document has been compiled, CS-Document itself will ensure that the document is saved and archived. CS-Document is prepared for all the modern routing options from daily practice. Distribution can, for example, take place through a print-out, the fax, an e-mail or EDI. The program is extremely suitable for phased implementation; you can start by establishing the medical correspondence for each specialization and subsequently widen the implementation throughout the organization at your own pace.

Most important features

CS-Document ensures the integration of the data already recorded in various care modules. CS-Document lends itself excellently to the standardization of your reporting, which improves efficiency. Its extensive routing facilities ensure that the reports to the various care providers can be presented in the way they prefer. Finally, it has extensive archiving and search functions, it is user-friendly and the document can be included in the EPR.
